Buyers Guide: Strength and Price

When first starting out on your CBD journey, it may be helpful to compare prices from the various vendors vying for your business.

First and foremost, it is highly recommended to only buy CBD products from vendors who publicly share their certified 3rd party test results. This is to ensure that the product you are buying is what is being advised and to ensure that there are no toxic chemicals, pesticides, heavy metals, or other impurities or volatile substances.

CBD tincture (drops) are most commonly sold in 15ml., 30ml., or 60ml. bottles. If the bottle says that it is 1000mg., that means that you are getting that much CBD in the entire bottle, no matter what the size. The only basis for discrimination between the different sizes is taste and ease of consumption. We prefer the 60ml. bottles because each dropper will taste better. This also means that the amount CBD in each dropper (dose) will be less. This is actually a good thing! This is good because you can easily control how much CBD you are consuming. It is recommended that you start out small and only use as much as you need. When you have a dropper of CBD (1ml.) containing 16.67mg, you can easily half or even go down to a fourth of that dose (~4mg.). On the other side, increasing your dose only requires you to have another dropper. Now let's compare that to a 15ml. bottle of the same total CBD amount (1000mg.). A one milliliter dropper would contain 66.66mg. of CBD. In order to get a ~4mg dose, you would need to measure out 1/16th of the dropper! That's going to be pretty difficult and inconvenient. Even more important, the taste will be extremely strong and in order to counteract that strong taste, the seller will probably have added sugar or other ingredients added which is not ideal.

Lastly, when deciding who to buy from, consider where their CBD is from. Were the plants grown in China? Is the farm they were grown on an oversized industrial farm using harmful chemicals and pesticides? These chemicals can show up in the oil. Gross!

Also, how was the CBD manufactured? Was it done using supercritical CO2 or did they use an inferior method such as ethanol, butane or other volatile solvent? The method used can result in less beneficial cannabinoids surviving the process and even causing some undesirable byproducts.

We at YallaCBD take pride in every product we provide, from start to finish. The plants that go into making our oil are grown on an organic family owned farm in Oregon. Our oil is processed in a certified food grade facility using supercritical CO2 extraction only. Finally, we are here to provide you with what we believe are the highest quality CBD products on the market. Perhaps more importantly, we are here to help you in every way possible, even if that means recommending a competitor. We want to be a trusted advisor, to solve your problems and give you the best experience possible.

CBD Extraction Methods

There are three basic extraction methods to create CBD oil and associated products. CO2 extraction. The supercritical (or subcritical) CO2 method uses carbon dioxide under high pressure and extremely low temperatures to isolate, preserve, and maintain the purity of the medicinal oil. This process requires expensive equipment and a steep operational learning curve. But, when done well, the end product is safe, potent, and free of chlorophyll (chlorophyll imparts an undesirable taste). Ethanol. High-grade grain alcohol can be used to create high-quality cannabis oil appropriate for vape pen cartridges and other products. But this extraction method destroys the plant waxes and some other phytochemicals, which may have health benefits that are favored by some product-makers. Olive oil. Olive oil can also be used to extract cannabis oil. Dr. Arno Hazekamp, director of phytochemical research at Bedrocan BV, which supplies medical cannabis for the Dutch Health Ministry, reports this ...

What Our Customers Are Saying About YallaCBD

I had 5 major back surgeries over 20 years and was on heavy opioids which only barely made the pain tolerable. I recently discovered CBD and found it to be an amazing replacement for pain management. I was able to completely eliminate the use of opioids. I am particularly impressed with how effective the topicals are for me; even more effective than the drops. - Mike P., Sr. Pastor I injured my shoulder the other evening and was having throbbing pain and inflammation. I rubbed some of the 4000 mg. gel on it and within a few minutes the pain was gone and the swelling went down. - M. M., IT Professional I twisted my ankle, aggravating an old injury. It hurt! I rubbed on some of the 1000 mg. gel and within about 10 minutes the pain was gone and stayed gone! I now use CBD to improve recovery time in the gym and heal any injuries fast. Also, I tend to get eczema on my fingers and needed a steroid to make it go away. Now, just a little bit of CBD (drops, gel or balm) and the eczema ...

Week #2 at Eugene Saturday Market

Greetings!  I thought I would share an experience I had recently in Oregon at Eugene's Saturday Market.  I like to attend these events because it gives me the opportunity to meet people, talk to them about CBD , share knowledge, information and samples as well as find out the challenges they face in terms of physical dysfunction. I met a young woman who was sharing with me that she had been experiencing extreme pain in her neck due to muscle knots and spasms.  I suggested she try some of our 2500 mg. Recovery Gel .  I explained how it would relax her muscles and provide relief for the pain. She agreed to try some so I squirted some on her hand and she rubbed into her neck.  At that point she wanted to catch up with her friends who had wondered over to some other booths.  I asked her to come back in 10 minutes or so to let me know how she was doing and if her neck felt any better. About 10 minutes later, she returned with her friends in tow, and was mo...
